Weekend in LA
Sonora pass skiing on July 4th! The coverage was ok in the bowl, but the chute off the top was not skiable. The snow was great, soft, smooth slush up top, but got really sticky at the bottom of the bowl, I would say at about 10,000 feet. The bottom was very sun cuped but not bad and I skied all the way back to the car. All in all great conditions for July 4th. I went up there in 2009 and there was no snow in site on the weekend of the 4th. Levit peak looked great in the background and had I not been alone I think it would have been worth a hike (image 2).
On the hike up the peak you follow the Pacific Crest Trail http://www.pcta.org/ On the ridge-line I ran into a man from Israel, Tal. He was hiking the entire trail from Mexico to Canada, AMAZING! Best of luck to him, he really impressed me.

Quora integrates with Google and asks to connect my accounts. This is the first time I have seen this big of an integration from a site not owned by Google.
After connecting the accounts I am not sure what it did. Perhaps my search results will integrate Quora questions to save me from searching in both places. I am struggling at the moment to see how this helps Quora to keep people searching on their site.
